Can I change the [DbName]YYYYMMDD.zip format for a backup file?

Hello,
I have just started using this tool, and was wondering if it possible to change some setting so that it can save the backup file in [Dbname]yyyymmdd.zip format instead of [Dbname]yyyymmddhhmm.zip format?
The reason for this is, I need to get my the backup file from FTP server and I am writing the script for this which will run everytime after the backup. But since the date and time part is dynamic in backup file name, I am getting this problem. I can still manage to work with the date but the time can not be matched.

HI this program is great... but i also need to change the outputfilename...
We use a different backup solution to handle the backup, and it so handles versioning of the backupps..
And we need to have the backup to have the same name every time...
So this is a request of a feature that would let us to manually select the outputname, would be superb!
Backupname#HHDDMM etc etc..
And thanx for a superb softare.

So let's say in advanced settings we'll add 3 options for "Output file format":
1. [DatabaseOrFolderName]YYYYMMDDHHMM.zip (default)
2. [DatabaseOrFolderName]YYYYMMDD.zip
3. [DatabaseOrFolderName].zip
Would it cover all the cases?
It wouldn't be difficult to implement, but we'd like to be sure that sufficient number of people need it. So if you need it, say so in this thread.

Another topic here was raising the similar issue. So what would be your opinion if in advanced settings we have these options for "Output file format. (Note that auto-delete/'How long to keep' feature will only work with first two options)": 1. [DbName]YYYYMMDDHHMM.zip (default) 2. [DbName]YYYYMMDD.zip 3. [DbName]DayOfMonth.zip 4. [DbName]DayOfWeek.zip 5. [DbName].zip

Since we don't see a lot of requests of this type I am now leaning to having this as a command-line option for advanced users while leaving this out of the GUI.

Output file format is done in v.5.1 - live now. In Advanced Settings you will find "Change File Format" that will bring you to the options:
1. [DatabaseOrFolderName]YYYYMMDDHHMM.zip (default)
2. [DatabaseOrFolderName]YYYYMMDD.zip
3. [DatabaseOrFolderName]DayOfMonth.zip
4. [DatabaseOrFolderName]DayOfWeek.zip
5. [DatabaseOrFolderName].zip
By default (the first option), Date and Time are added to the end of the file name (e.g. Pubs201012251130.zip). One file per database or folder is created. You can select any format that suits your needs, just keep in mind that "Auto delete" feature (from the main form) is enabled only if first two options are selected. If compression setting "None" is selected in Advanced Settings, a database will be saved just as .bak (not .zip) file.

Do you have to have a paid version to change the file name format. I keep getting a popup that says advanced setting need to be rest to defaults to chang the file name. I restore to defaults and it doesnt do anything.

There's no difference between paid and free version in changing file format. In the release v 5.7.2 we had a bug: when you click on "Customize backup file name" in advanced settings, it gives you an error: "In order to change the output file format, you have to reset the advanced schedule settings to defaults.". It is fixed now.
