OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 Bit SP1 Installed
Server: Dell R515 Dual AMD Opteron 4162EE 1.7Ghz 64 GB RAM PERC5 Raid Controller x3 320 GB drives RAID 0+5 Configuration
Problem: Installed SQLBackupAndFTP. Entered complete information as to the server to connect to, username to use, email address and backup to local folder (to resolve permissions issues). User is in administrator group. Changed the temp file location for the backup from C:\Windows. Job runs, looks to complete and sends completion email then program proptly crashes. Windows error reporting comes up and no solution is found. Here is the confirmation email contents:
SqlBackupAndFtp 3.0.3.32889 (Free) SUMMARY: Database XXXXXXXXXX: Backup - Success DETAILED LOG: 3/20/2012 1:14:25 PM Creating backup of XXXXXXXXXX 3/20/2012 1:14:29 PM Backup of XXXXXXXXXX completed 3/20/2012 1:14:31 PM Zipping D:\SQLTemp\cvt3qp0w.w45\XXXXXXXXXX20120320.bak to XXXXXXXXXX20120320.zip 3/20/2012 1:14:44 PM Zip completed (compressed size: 38,261 Kb) 3/20/2012 1:14:44 PM Copying XXXXXXXXXX20120320.zip to D:\SQL\XXXXXXXXXX20120320.zip 3/20/2012 1:14:44 PM Removing the backup: D:\SQLTemp\cvt3qp0w.w45\XXXXXXXXXX20120320.bak 3/20/2012 1:14:44 PM Removing XXXXXXXXXX20120320.zip 3/20/2012 1:14:44 PM Removing temporary folder D:\SQLTemp\cvt3qp0w.w45
The file is created in the correct location and looks to be a zipped version of the database. However, the program completely crashing has me scratching my head. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
Could you please upgrade SQLBackupAndFTP to the latest version and try?

Ok. Don't know how I ended up with a version that old. Removed old version, installed new one and had access problems. Went into management studio and added my windows credentials to the login and now everything runs. Thanks for the help and sorry for not checking the version before asking a question. I will let the job run tonight and see if I get any errors. If I don't post back on this one, it's closed. Thanks again.
