SqlBackupAndFTP can send different types of notifications about backup job results.

It is important to configure notifications because backups can fail for many reasons: connection issues, storage access problems, authorization errors, low disk space, network interruptions, and other unexpected conditions.

If notifications are not configured, a backup may stop working correctly and you may not notice it in time.

For that reason, we recommend configuring a suitable notification channel in advance and verifying it with a test message.
