Where to Get the Webhook URL

To send notifications to Discord, you need to obtain the webhook URL:

1. Open Discord and go to the server whose channel should receive notifications.
2. Click Edit Channel and go to the Integrations section.

3. In the integrations section, open Webhooks.

4. Click New Webhook to create a new webhook.

5. Specify a webhook name and choose the channel where it should post messages.

6. Copy the generated Webhook URL.

7. Paste this URL into the application settings and click Test.

Practical Notes

• For an incident channel, it is better to use a separate webhook so operational and regular notifications do not get mixed together.
• If notifications are not arriving, first check whether the webhook still exists in Discord and has not been revoked.
